State of State Address How to Read
From Ballotpedia
Leap to: navigation, search
All fifty state constitutions mandate that the governor requite an annual (or, if not almanac, regular ) report to the state legislature on the status of the state. This spoken communication is most ordinarily referred to as the Country of the State accost, although it is known as the Condition of the State address in Iowa and the Land of the Republic address in Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The speech too includes the governor's priorities and goals for the legislative session.
